Studio Tour FAQ
Have questions? We’re glad you asked.
Here are some of the most common questions people have about the tour—whether you’re planning a visit, thinking of participating, or just curious about what we do.
What is the Studio Tour?
It’s a self-guided event where the public can visit working artists in their studios (or another specified location), see their creative process firsthand, and view or purchase original artwork directly from the artist.
When is the tour?
The tour will take place on August 16th and 17th, 2025, 10am - 4pm each day. Participating studio hours may vary slightly—full schedule and map will be available closer to the event date.
Where does it take place?
Studios are located throughout Greater Abington Community. A brochure and online map will be available to help guide your visit.
How do I know where to go?
Printed brochures will be available at local businesses, and a downloadable map will be available on our website. Look for lawn signs and directional signs to help you find each studio.
Is it free to attend?
Yes! The tour is completely free. Some artists will have work available for purchase, but browsing and chatting are warmly encouraged.
Do I need to RSVP?
No RSVP is necessary—just show up and enjoy the tour at your own pace.
Can I bring kids or pets?
Kids are welcome, but please be mindful of fragile artwork and working studios. Pets are generally not recommended unless specified by the artist, as studios may contain delicate materials.
How can I support the artists?
Purchasing artwork is always appreciated, but even just attending, sharing your experience, and spreading the word goes a long way in supporting local artists!
