Studio Tour Location

45 Potter Lane, Dalton, PA 18414

Burti Ceramics Studio began as a dream of mine after graduating from Marywood University in 1977. The dream took many years to complete, but with a constant focus , the studio was born in 2004. Two additions followed the original construction.

The current studio has a hand-building area with slab roller, an extruder and large tables for clay construction. Downstairs is an area for wheel throwing and bisque kilns. In addition, a separate area for glaze making and a gas kiln are available.

Members participate in all aspects of clay art, including loading and unloading kilns, glaze making and other studio maintenance. Currently, we have seven members who make ceramic art in a variety of techniques.

Member work will be on display and for sale during the studio tour.
